The driver killed in a semi accident in Fulton County has been identified as a Hanna City man.
Todd Brown, 54, died Friday, Aug. 7, after a semi left a roadway and hit a tree in Fairview, according to Fulton County Coroner Austin Rhodes. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday in Peoria County, and toxicology is pending per Illinois state statue.
Around 2:45 p.m. Friday, emergency responders were called to Illinois Route 97 in Fairview, just north of the intersection of North East and West Carter streets, for an accident. Brown, the driver, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Coroner’s Office and the Illinois State Police are continuing to investigate the accident.
