The Chicago Bears are gearing up for their Week 12 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, where Chicago is looking to win their eighth game in the last nine and stay in sole possession of first place in the NFC North.
There was some big news out of Halas Hall on Thursday, where Pro Bowl cornerback Jaylon Johnson was a full participant just three practices after groin surgery. He remains on injured reserve, but it’s quite possible the Bears activate him for a potential return Sunday against the Steelers.

Meanwhile, the Bears were without all three starting linebackers for a second straight day as Tremaine Edmunds (groin), T.J. Edwards (hand/hamstring) and Noah Sewell (elbow) didn’t practice again. That’s certainly concerning heading into Sunday’s game, where Chicago’s defense is already injury-riddled on the backend.
