Bears-Eagles Black Friday game will reach worldwide audience

All eyes will be on the Chicago Bears this Black Friday when they take on the Philadelphia Eagles for their Week 13 matchup. Quite literally, in fact.

On Wednesday, the NFL announced that the holiday game between the Bears and the reigning Super Bowl champions will stream on Prime Video to a worldwide audience with no subscription required.

In a press release, the NFL announced the game will be available in over 240 countries and territories around the world, with no Prime Video subscription required. The streaming service, which began carrying NFL games in 2022, is presenting this event globally for the first time.

“We are thrilled to expand our relationship with the NFL and present Black Friday Football to the millions of fans we serve around the world,” said Jay Marine, head of Prime Video U.S., global sports, in the press release. “Black Friday is becoming one of the best sports holidays of the year, and this can’t-miss game between the Super Bowl Champion Eagles and the surging Bears, in one of the most-charged stadium atmospheres in sports, stands at the center of a huge day for all of us at Amazon. We cannot wait to provide fans with best-in-class coverage and a full day of action, holiday deals, and surprises.”

Hopefully the Bears will still be surging next month when this game takes place. At 4-2, Chicago has won four games in a row and is one of the hottest teams in the NFL thanks to first-year head coach Ben Johnson. This game against the Eagles will be a litmus test to see how good the Bears can be as they hope to make the playoffs for the first time since 2020.

The Bears and Eagles square off Friday, November 28th, beginning at 2 p.m. CT on Prime Video.
