Is the post office open on Christmas Eve? Will mail be delivered?
Yes. Although there was some confusion.
On Dec. 18, President Donald Trump issued an executive order declaring both Wednesday, Dec. 24 and Friday, Dec. 26 as federal holidays this year, leaving some people wondering if the post office would be shut down on one of its busiest days of the year. But don’t fret.
“Post Office retail lobbies will be open and our letter carriers will be delivering mail on Dec. 24 and Dec. 26,” according to an email from the Postal Service.
Will the post office be open on Christmas?
No.

Does UPS deliver on Christmas Eve?
All UPS pickup and delivery services are available today and all UPS Store locations are open. However, UPS pickup for Air and international Air services are only available if they were prearranged by Dec. 18 and there is no UPS Ground service pickup.
Does UPS deliver on Christmas Day?
There will be no UPS pickup or delivery service on Thursday, Dec. 25, Christmas Day, the UPS website said. UPS store locations may be closed, check with your local store.
UPS Express Critical service is available every day of the year, 24 hours a day.
Does FedEx deliver on Christmas Eve?
All FedEx deliveries except for FedEx Freight are available today but some FedEx Office locations may have modified hours.
Early on-call and drop box pickups are available in some areas for FedEx expedited parcel and air freight services.
Does FedEx deliver on Christmas Day?
FedEx does not deliver on Christmas and FedEx offices will be closed.
FedEx Custom Critical services will still be available 24/7.
Are banks open on Christmas Eve?
Most banks will be open on Wednesday, Dec. 24, but some may have shortened or adjusted hours., Check with your local branch to be sure.
Online banking services and ATMs will still be available, but any transactions made today won’t be posted until the next business day.
Are banks open on Christmas?
