Florida baseball went 3-2 this week after winning back-to-back games in the midweek, but dropping its series to High Point.
The Gators (14-3) defeated Florida Atlantic 4-0 on Tuesday, and then Florida A&M 7-5 on Wednesday. However, UF dropped lost to High Point 7-2 and then 6-2, but salvaged the series with a 12-11 walk-off victory.

In the USA Today Coaches Poll, Florida fell from No. 8 to No. 18. Eleven other SEC teams were included in the poll with five inside of the top 10.
In the latest D1Baseball.com rankings, Florida dropped back from No. 9 to No. 23. The Gators also fell in in Perfect Game’s rankings from No. 7 to No. 23, and in Baseball America UF fell back from No. 14 to No. 25.
Florida will host Florida State on March 10, and then opens conference play by host South Carolina.
