The Daytona 500 may be over, but there’s another exciting annual event coming to the Daytona International Speedway in a little over a week.
Daytona’s annual Bike Week is one of the world’s largest motorcycle events, and the 85th Daytona Bike Week kicks off on Friday, Feb. 27.

This year, Daytona Bike Week will start on the second-to-last day of February and stretch through the first week of March.
If you’re wondering, it is somewhat unusual for the event to start in February, but the official opening date has been moving that direction in recent years. Daytona Bike Week started on Feb. 28 in 2025, March 1 in 2024 and March 3 in 2023. The timing of the event involves factors that include the cycle racing schedule at the Daytona International Speedway.
What to expect at Daytona Bike Week
Bike Week is an annual 10-day celebration featuring an array of vendors offering everything from custom sunglasses to exhaust systems, live music and opportunities for bikers to cruise everywhere from packed city streets to scenic rural roads.
During Bike Week, hundreds of thousands of bikers come to attend events like motorcycle racing, bike shows, live music, bikini contests and more. An estimated 300,000 to 400,000 riders and fans travel to a broad swath of Central Florida that includes Volusia, Flagler, St. Johns, Duval, Orange, Seminole and Brevard counties, among others.
The early beginnings of what is now Daytona Bike Week started in January 1937, with the first Daytona 200 race, and eventually grew into more than a week of festivities over the years.

How much are tickets for Daytona Bike Week?
Some bike week events are free, while others are ticketed. Tickets to only attend the Daytona 200 race range between $25 and $113, depending on which day or days you attend.
