EA Sports has officially unveiled the Madden NFL 27 ratings for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ 2026 rookie class, giving fans their first look at how the franchise’s newest additions stack up in this year’s game.
Leading the group is first-round edge rusher Rueben Bain Jr., who received an 80 overall rating, making him one of the highest-rated rookies in the entire game. Bain also boasts 84 speed, 84 strength and a 78 awareness rating, highlighting the athletic profile that made him one of the most coveted pass rushers in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Second-round linebacker Josiah Trotter checked in next with a 75 overall rating. The rookie linebacker enters Madden with 88 speed and 82 agility, traits that should translate well to Todd Bowles’ aggressive defensive scheme.
Fourth-round cornerback Keionte Scott earned a 73 overall rating and is one of the fastest rookies in the game with an impressive 95 speed rating. His combination of 87 agility and 86 change of direction reflects the athleticism that made him an intriguing developmental prospect.
Third-round wide receiver Ted Hurst III received a 72 overall rating. The former standout enters the game with 92 speed, 87 agility, and 86 change of direction, giving him the skill set to develop into a dangerous weapon in the Buccaneers’ offense.
The remainder of Tampa Bay’s rookie class includes defensive tackle Demonte Capehart (70 overall), guard Billy Schrauth (69), linebacker Javin Wright (64), tight end Bauer Sharp (63), and offensive tackle Paul Rubelt (61).
