Season 24 of “American Idol” has officially wrapped, with Pensacola native Keyla Richardson taking home third place in the competition, and fans can now relive Richardson’s three show-stopping performances from the three-hour finale.
Richardson performed “Un-Thinkable (I’m Ready)” by Alicia Keys and “I Love the Lord” by Whitney Houston, both of which showcased her wide vocal range and ability to emotionally draw listeners into her music. Later in the show, she performed a duet with Jason Mraz, singing “I Won’t Give Up,” a song that she had performed solo earlier in the season.
Even right until the end, Richardson received high praise from the judges, with Luke Bryan considering Richardson’s time on Idol “one of the best journeys I’ve ever experienced on this show.”
