The 2026 Valspar Championship begins today, kicking off the final leg of the PGA Tour’s annual Florida swing. Viktor Hovland comes in off an iffy finish to The Players Championship to defend his title at the Innisbrook Resort.
Several of the top performers from last week’s Players will test their luck at the famed Copperhead Course this weekend. That doesn’t include winner Cameron Young (or Sudarshan Yellamaraju, who impressed with a top-five finish but withdrew from the Valspar), but runner-up Matt Fitzpatrick and bronze-medalist Xander Schauffele are in the field. Top-five finisher Jacob Bridgeman and top-10 finisher Justin Thomas are, too.
Brooks Koepka narrowly missed a second straight top-10 outing and looks to improve in his fifth PGA Tour event since coming back from LIV Golf. Jordan Spieth, Peter Malnati, Gary Woodland, Taylor Moore, Adam Hadwin, and Kevin Streelman are out to pick up a second win at Innisbrook.

Round 1 of the 2026 Valspar Championship will broadcast nationally on Golf Channel starting at 2 p.m. Featured group and hole streaming from PGA Tour Live is available on the ESPN app (with a subscription to the Select plan) starting at 7:30 a.m.
