The commemorative passport with President Donald Trump’s picture in it will become more widely available throughout the country, but not in Florida yet.
The State Department announced July 30 it is making 250,000 additional special passports due to “overwhelming demand.” While the first print was only available at appointments in Washington D.C., the State Department said people across the country can now apply for what it calls the “Patriot Passport.”
The special passports show Trump standing over the Resolute Desk layered over text of the Declaration of Independence, a Freedom 250 gold flag and an image of the Founding Fathers signing the Declaration of Independence.
The passport is one of a number of things with Trump’s face and branding on it, including a $1 gold coin and his signature on $100 bills.
Where do they give out the Trump commemorative passports?
The State Department says passports will be available at all passport agencies and centers nationwide, but only during special hours. If you apply for a passport online, you will not get a “Patriot Passport.” Those hoping to get the special edition with Trump’s image on it must call 877-487-2778 and dial 9 to make an appointment during designated hours, called “events.”
The events are scheduled throughout the month of August and are dependent on the location. To find your nearest passport center and its event schedule, visit the State Department’s website. Not all passport agencies have events listed as of July 31.
Those hoping to get one at the Washington Passport Agency can still do so by calling the same number and making an appointment.

There are no dedicated appointments listed for Florida as of July 31, though the website states additional opportunities may become available. USA TODAY reached out to the State Department for more information but did not immediately hear back.
