Top 5 Things to Do this weekend (July 31-Aug. 2) in Palm Beach County

Summer is here, but that’s no reason to hide inside. Arm yourselves with hats, loose-fitting clothing, cold beverages, frozen treats or whatever and meet the oppressive forces of heat and humidity head on. Like Rohan’s cavalry charging down Pelennor Fields and breaking the lines of the enemy, get out and find your adventure this weekend. Get out and laugh until it hurts at Art After Dark Improv Night, get in a yoga session and CityPlace, try out for Fright Nights and more.

In addition to the top five events listed there’s always something great happening at places like The Norton Museum of Art or the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. On top of that you could always just enjoy a great meal with an equally great view at one of Palm Beach County’s waterfront restaurants from Jupiter to Boca Raton. Plus, we’ve curated a list of the best things to do all year in the county, and here it is: your bucket list of 60 fun must-try things to do in Palm Beach County.

The event invites the community to come together while dining at the Buccaneer Waterfront Bar & Grill to support injured fishermen and their families. A percentage of all revenue from the day will benefit Casting for Care’s mission to provide financial support, hope and community to fishermen and their loved ones during recovery. For many offshore fishermen, the sea isn’t just a job—it’s home. They live boat to boat, tide to tide, chasing their livelihood. When tragedy strikes however, there’s often no safety net waiting on land.

The event runs from 2 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1. 142 Lake Drive, Palm Beach Shores. Information: buccgrill.com casting4care.org
