The St. Augustine History Festival returns to America’s oldest city May 6-10.
Spearheaded by the University of Florida Historic St. Augustine Inc. and the Lastinger Family Foundation, the five-day event showcases the city’s history ― the historical, notable and unimaginable ― from its founding in 1565 until today.
Scheduled to coincide with National Historic Preservation Month, modern technology will spotlight every era of the city’s long and storied past through multiple properties downtown and throughout St. Johns County, including properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Lectures, live reenactments, films, tours, storytelling and special events are all a part of the festival. Dates, times and places can be found at https://www.staugustinehistoryfestival.com.
