Spooky season is creeping into Palm Beach County.
Spirit Halloween, the seasonal retailer known for its costumes, decorations and animatronics, is opening its 2026 pop-up stores across the country as Halloween approaches.
The company plans to operate a record 1,575 stores across the United States and Canada this season. Spirit Halloween’s flagship store in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, opened Aug. 1 with a grand-opening celebration featuring a ribbon-cutting ceremony, giveaways and first looks at the retailer’s newest Halloween products.
Across South Florida, local stores have started opening with more on the way.
