See which FSU player is projected to go in the top 75 of NFL draft

With the college and NFL seasons wrapped up, it’s now mock draft season. There is no shortage of opinions on where players who won the national championship, to teams who finished 1-11, are going. The Florida State Seminoles have long been a consistent school in terms of draftable players; they have 304 selections as of the conclusion of the 2025 NFL Draft.

In 2025, cornerback Azareye’h Thomas was selected 73rd overall by the New York Jets, and defensive tackle Joshua Farmer was picked up by the New England Patriots at number 137.

This year, PFF predicts a Seminole to go at least within the third round, and that is Darrell Jackson Jr. The defensive lineman is now projected to land at No. 71 and with the Washington Commanders, who need someone to bolster the interior defensive line. Previously, PFF had Jackson going No. 81 overall to the Texans, so perhaps his combine showing improved his stock. While the Seminoles may only have one likely drafted player this year, boatloads of talent will be on the way in the future.

On his Instagram, Darrell spoke of the bond he had with his teammates at Florida State, saying, “Some of my best memories aren’t even from the field. They’re from the brotherhood, the laughs, the long nights of film study, the moments when we picked each other up during tough times. Those bonds don’t fade. They become part of who you are forever.”

Jackson spent three seasons with the Seminoles and made 25 starts. He recorded 80 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, and one forced fumble. He made the All-ACC Honorable Mention team after both seasons.
