The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a drowning that claimed a man’s life Saturday morning at Turtle Beach.
Deputies responded at 9:53 a.m. to the 9000 block of Blind Pass Road, where Sarasota County firefighters were already performing lifesaving measures. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
The case remains under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Section. Anyone with information is asked to call 941-861-4900.
