Rockledge police continue a death investigation involving at least one body found at an area apartment complex over the weekend.
Multiple police officers responded Saturday, April 25, to Ventura at Turtle Creek Apartment Homes, 3802 Alafaya Lane. Forensics agents and others were also called to the site.
At least one body was recovered from the area. The remains were turned over to the medical examiner’s office.
Rockledge Police Chief Christopher Crawford, whose agency is working the case, said there was no additional threat to the public.
“It’s an ongoing death investigation and we’ll have more information to come,” Crawford told FLORIDA TODAY on Monday, April 27.
