The Jacksonville Jaguars were back on the practice field Sunday for the team’s 10th training camp practice. So let’s check in on where Travis Hunter was lined up and how he performed.
According to ESPN’s Michael DiRocco, Hunter came away with an interception off Trevor Lawrence, making a leaping grab at the goal line on a pass intended for Parker Washington.
This is Hunter’s second interception of training camp and first off Lawrence.
That said, DiRocco notes that the interception may have never happened in a real game, with Dennis Gardeck potentially logging a sack beforehand.
Offensively, Jamal St. Cyr did not note any receptions for Hunter during the 11-on-11 periods. Hunter had one short pass come his way, but it was an incompletion on a throw from Lawrence.
During the one-on-one periods, cornerback Jabbar Muhammad had tight coverage on Hunter, but he came away with the catch and got both feet inbounds for the touchdown.
Hunter played 20 total 11-on-11 snaps on Sunday, with 12 coming on defense and eight on offense, per DiRocco.
Up to this point, he’s played 88 defensive snaps in total during training camp and 55 on offense.
