Palm Beach's Glazer Hall welcomes nationally acclaimed executive chef

Nationally acclaimed and Michelin-awarded chef Daniel DiStefano has joined the Glazer Hall cultural arts center as executive chef for its new private events division.

In partnership with Lessing’s Hospitality Group, Glazer Hall Private Events will design and host luxury events at the center, which will open this winter at 70 Royal Poinciana Plaza in Palm Beach.

“We wanted to partner with a world-class hospitality group that will deliver five-star quality and service for Glazer Hall Private Events,” said Jill Glazer, co-founder and co-chairman of Glazer Hall.

DiStefano is set to bring exciting new flavors and experiences to events at Glazer Hall’s waterfront setting, Glazer said.

An experienced culinary leader, he spent more than a decade at Eleven Madison Park in New York City, helping it earn three Michelin Stars and make San Pellegrino’s 2017 list of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

He was also an executive culinary director with Daniel Humm Hospitality, where he oversaw global culinary partnerships, new concept development, and the launch of notable projects including Clemente Bar, which debuted at No. 11 on San Pellegrino’s annual ranking of North America’s 50 Best Bars in 2025.

“We chose Daniel to oversee the cuisine for Glazer Hall Private Events because he brings a proven record of creativity and excellence in fine dining,” Michael Lessing, CEO of Lessing’s Hospitality Group, said in a prepared statement. “His leadership will position Glazer Hall as the top destination in South Florida for one-of-a-kind weddings, events, and dining experiences.”

Glazer Hall’s second-floor private event space will feature western and northern views of the Intracoastal Waterway.

The 1,200-square-foot space is designed to host dinners, receptions and corporate or private events, while a 600-square-foot connected room provides extra space for meetings, breakout sessions, or additional seating.
