The marriage of David Sarama and Daniel Drennen II took place on June 14 in Palm Beach.
The Rev. Tim Schenck was officiant for the ceremony at The Episcopal Church of Bethesda-By-The-Sea.
Mr. Drennen was attended by Richard Drennen and Daniel Drennen III, both of Mountain Brook, Alabama.
Mr. Sarama was attended by John Richard of Orlando and Larry Brayman of Fort Lauderdale.
Readers were Betts Drennen and Frances Drennen Nichols, both of Mountain Brook, Alabama; and Karyn Walters of Cleveland.
Mr. Drennen graduated from Washington & Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, with a bachelor of arts degree and received a juris doctor degree from Samford Law School in Birmingham, Alabama. He earned an LLM ― an advanced law degree ― in taxation from Emory University Law School in Atlanta.
He is a former tax lawyer and partner at two Alabama law firms who later co-founded a regional wealth management firm in Birmingham. He also was a multi-family office executive with Mellon Bank in Philadelphia and Wells Fargo Bank in Palm Beach.
He is a member of the IPI/Campden Club and of the Society of Colonial Warrs Palm Beach and is a trustee of the Log Cabin Republicans in Washington, DC.
Mr. Sarama earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management from The College of William and Mary.
He is a former marketing executive with Anheuser-Busch and is a board member of the Cancer Alliance of Help and Hope and of the Log Cabin Institute in Washington, DC.
Both are members of the Flagler Museum’s Whitehall Restoration Council, the Palm Beach Yacht Club, The Kravis Center’s Founders Room and the Palm Beach Civic Association.
After a reception at the Beach Club, the couple left on a wedding trip to the Ritz Hotel in London, followed by a transatlantic cruise.
They are living in Palm Beach, where both are active in philanthropy.
