Pair of Dolphins crack CBS' list of top-100 players of 2026

The Miami Dolphins don’t exactly have the most-talented roster in the league after trading away or releasing several impactful veterans after a 7-10 campaign that led to sweeping changes to the front office and coaching staff this offseason.

However, CBS Sport’s Pete Prisco recently released his list of the top-100 players heading into the 2026 season, and the Dolphins had two players make the cut.

Running back De’Von Achane came in at No. 44 and center Aaron Brewer landed at No. 31. Neither player made the list last year.

“His improvement over the past two seasons has been impressive,” Prisco said of Brewer. “After signing with Miami as a free agent, he has developed into one of the league’s best centers, which is why the team gave him a fat contract earlier this month.”

The 28-year-old started 16 games at center last year, earning a 87.4 overall grade from Pro Football Focus (second-best at the position) and making the All-Pro team for the first time in his career.

“He had 1,350 rushing yards in 13 games with eight rushing touchdowns,” Prisco said of Achane. “He also had 67 catches and four receiving touchdowns. He is a home-run threat every time he touches the ball.”

The 24-year-old back received an extension this offseason as well after making the Pro Bowl for the first time. He’ll likely be Malik Willis’ safety blanket in South Florida in 2026 and could be a reason why the Dolphins find any success in a rebuilding year.
