Spire Motorsports swept the front row in Saturday qualifying at Texas.
Carson Hocevar and Daniel Suarez will start 1-2 in Chevrolets. Hocevar averaged 191.340 mph around the quad-oval while Suarez averaged 191.320. The stopwatch had Hocevar faster than Suarez by three-thousandths of a second.
Hocevar, coming off a win last Sunday at Talladega, is also coming off a Truck Series win Friday night at Texas.
The last pole winner to win at Texas was Kyle Larson in 2021.

Bubba Wallace crashed in practice prior to qualifying, and Austin Dillon blew an engine. They will start from the back of the field Sunday.
This week’s field include 38 entries, the 36 chartered teams plus two “open” efforts — Chad Finchum in a Ford for Carl Long’s Garage 66 team, and Corey Heim in a fourth Toyota for 23XI Racing.
Sunday’s Wurth 400 is the 11th race on the 36-race Cup Series schedule. It precedes a road-course race at Watkins Glen, which will be followed by All Star weekend, which is at Dover this year.
