NASCAR betting favorites, longshots for Nashville race Sunday night

Nashville Superspeedway has been host to five NASCAR Cup Series races, all in the past five years, and has seen five different winners.

Two of them are Ryan Blaney and Chase Elliott, who have both been clanking a bit in recent weeks and would love to right the ship.

But the other three former Music City winners are downright desperate for a trophy.

It’s been over a year since Victory Lane has welcomed Kyle Larson, Joey Logano or Ross Chastain. That’s a nutty stat, but as the wise man liked to say, “you’ll get that in big-time auto racin’.”

At least Larson has sniffed a win here and there this year, which explains his spot among Sunday night’s favorites. Logano and Chastain have been miserable in 2026, with a mix of the non-competitive as well as bad luck.

That’s why you have to wade through more names than usual to find them on our odds board below.

Denny Hamlin a fairly heavy Nashville favorite

+375: Denny Hamlin

+700: Christopher Bell, Tyler Reddick

+750: Ryan Blaney

+850: Kyle Larson

+1100: Chase Briscoe

Denny seems to be an easy favorite, since the route to Victory Lane must go through him week after week. No, he hasn’t won a bunch this year, but he always seems to have a chance, and you can’t say that about many others.

Ross Chastain, Joey Logano offer decent paydays, but can they finally deliver?

+1400: Ty Gibbs, William Byron

+1600: Chase Elliott

+2250: Carson Hocevar, Joey Logano

+3000: Brad Keselowski, Bubba Wallace, Chris Buescher, Ross Chastain

+6000: Alex Bowman, Daniel Suarez, Ryan Preece, Austin Cindric

+7500: Erik Jones

No one would be shocked if the winner came from this group. A healthy handful from this pack usually finds themselves several notches higher on the odds board.

+10000: Connor Zilisch, Shane van Gisbergen, Corey Heim

+15000: Michael McDowell, Zane Smith

+20000: Austin Dillon, Josh Berry

+25000: AJ Allmendinger, Austin Hill, John Hunter Nemechek, Ricky Stenhouse, Riley Herbst

You might like to know, Zane Smith was runner-up to Joey Logano at Nashville just two years ago.

Noah Gragson down among the longest longshots

+50000: Cole Custer, Noah Gragson, Todd Gilliland

+100000: Ty Dillon

+250000: Cody Ware, Chad Finchum

Gragson had a wee-bit of the can’t-miss vibe a few years ago when he was lighting up the Xfinity Series and preparing for the Cup jump. Right now, he needs yet another reboot.
