Naples Children Foundation makes $400,000 'transformative investment'

“A significant investment in the fight against child hunger in Collier County” has been made, said Midwest Food Bank Florida executive director Dennis Hall Jr.

Spring brought a $400,000 grant to the agency from the Naples Children Foundation known as NCF, which relies on fundraisers such as the Naples Winter Wine Festival co-founded by 2026 Naples Daily News Outstanding Citizen of the Year Scott Lutgert.”This transformative investment made as part of NCF’s Hunger Initiative will support the distribution of nutritious food to children in Collier County, helping ensure more kids have access to the healthy meals they need to grow, learn, and thrive,” Hall said. “This partnership strengthens our ability to fight food insecurity and provide nourishing food to children who need it most.”
