Mother's Day 2025: Pensacola has plenty of special brunch and dinner options

It’s shaping up to be a wet Mother’s Day, but the good news is that rain won’t shut down local restaurants.

If you’re looking for quality time with mom this year, check out the list below for some of the most popular brunch options in the Pensacola area.

Mother’s Day brunches in the Pensacola area: Over a dozen experiences to try

Sammy Barker’s

875 E. Nine Mile Road

Sammy Barker’s is celebrating Mother’s Day from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 11 with an extra special feature − a free bottomless brunch or entree for Mom with the purchase of two adult brunch entrees. For those accompanying Mom, bottomless brunch is $18.99 per adult and $8.99 per child for those 12 and under. Bottomless mimosas can be added for those 21 and up for $15.99. Active military and UWF students with a student ID can receive a 10% off discount.

There are a few house rules for bottomless brunch, which prohibits sharing plates with unpaid guests. There are also no to-go boxes allowed for uneaten food on plate refills during bottomless brunch.

Pearl & Horn

1504 W, Intendencia St.

Pearl & Horn will open a little early on Mother’s Day, catering more to the lunch crowd. Instead of 4:30 p.m., they will be open at 3 p.m. with their standard menu. For more information, call the restaurant at 850-332-5108 or make a reservation on resy.com.

86 Forks

11 Palafox Place

86 Forks will be offering an extra special Mother’s Day brunch from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on May 11, featuring six special brunch items in addition to the regular menu, mimosas and a full cocktail menu. Reservations are highly recommended and can be made online on the 86 Forks website.

Calvert’s in the Heights

670 Scenic Highway

Calvert’s will be hosting a Mother’s Day brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this year. The buffet will feature fresh, made-from-scratch favorites such as Belgian waffles, shrimp, and gouda grits, a prime rib carving station and desserts. The Moon Drop flower truck will also be there to assemble a bouquet. Call the restaurant at 850-332-5838 to make a reservation. 

Seville Quarter

130 E. Government St.

Seville Quarter is hosting a Mom Overboard! Murder Mystery Mother’s Day Brunch at 11 a.m. (doors open at 10 a.m.) on Mother’s Day at Heritage Hall.

“Step aboard this luxurious celebrity mom cruise and meet the crew. Don’t worry, it won’t be a 3-hour tour exactly, but when someone winds up dead, it will be up to YOU and the Detective to solve this crime. Beware, we’re in some deep waters now!” the event description states.

Tickets are $69 (tax not included) and include a brunch of croissant with honey butter, fruit salad with a citrus crème fraiche, choice of crab cake benedict or classic frittata, and a slice of chocolate basque cheesecake for dessert.

American Legion – Post 33

1401 W. Intendencia St.

Improbably Cause Mystery Theatre, a veteran-owned murder mystery company, will be hosting a special Mother’s Day interactive murder mystery brunch event from 1-2:30 p.m. on Mother’s Day at the American Legion Post 33. Tickets are $50 per person, and proceeds will go toward restoring Frank Marston American Legion Post 33, Pensacola/ Historic American Legion Post 33. There will be a buffet-style meal catered by Cottage Café, with tea, lemonade and one free mimosa included. Additional mimosas and champagne will be available for purchase. Seating will be family-style on a first-come, first-served basis. Parties over four people who wish to be seated together can reserve seating by calling ICMT Gulf Coast owner Nicole Dickson at 850-207-7115.

“This brunch will be an interactive murder mystery experience where YOU become the detective! Analyze evidence, interrogate suspects and use YOUR powers of observation to solve the crime!,” the event description states. “This mystery is a BEAUTY PAGENT theme so dress up in your fanciest outfit and join us for some glammed up fun! Three SPECIAL prizes will be awarded to our TOP SLEUTHS and there will be a fun Mother/Child beauty contest BONUS event for participants.”

The Olde English Creamery

The Olde English Creamery is hosting several Mother’s Day Traditional Afternoon Tea experiences beginning on May 9 and carrying on through Mother’s Day. Angels Dream will be the special tea selection for Mother’s Day, but the regular selection is always available. Tickets are $56 per person for adults, and $48 per person for children ages 3 through 11, and the ticket includes gratuity. Available sessions include 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on May 9, 1-2:30 p.m. on May 9, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on May 10, 3-4:30 p.m. on May 10 and noon to 1:30 p.m. on May 11. Miss Luci’s Tea Room & More

6865 Allen Street, Milton

Miss Luci’s Tea Room will be celebrating Mother’s Day with a luxurious five-course tea experience. The menu will include a rich soup, spring salad, savory bites, delicate pastries and fragrant tea, the event description states. There are various hour-and-a-half sessions available to reserve on May 9, 10 and 11. Adult pricing is $45 per person, and children under 10 are $26 per person. Reservations are required, and seating is limited. Reservations can be made by calling the tearoom at 850-564-0797. Alcohol options are available for an additional charge.

Jackson’s Steakhouse

400 S. Palafox St.

Jackson’s will be serving lunch from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. and dinner service starting at 5 p.m. In addition to the regular menus, Chef Irv Miller has created special Mother’s Day features.

Hilton Pensacola Beach

The Hilton Pensacola Beach will be hosting a Mother’s Day buffet from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Royal Palm Ballroom on May 11. Every mom will receive a complimentary glass of champagne or mimosa, a single flower upon arrival, photo booth access for keepsake photos. Live music will be performed in the foyer and broadcast in the ballroom. There will also be drink specials, including mimosas, poinsettias, champagne, Bloody Marys, wine, specialty cocktails and mocktails. Tickets are $70 per person for adults plus tax, $28 per person for children ages 5-12 and free for children ages 4 and under.  The brunch buffet will include the following:

Scenic Hills Country Club

8891 Burning Tree Road

Scenic Hills Country Club will be offering a Mother’s Day brunch buffet open to the public, but reservations are required. The brunch will span from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at $50 per adult, $25 per child ages 5-12, and free for children 4 and under. Live music will be provided by The Jazzabouts. Brother Fox

Brother Fox has curated a special Mother’s Day brunch buffet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 11. Reservations can be made on OpenTable.  Menu details are yet to be released.

Agapi Bistro + Garden

555 Scenic Highway

Agapi will offer a special Mother’s Day brunch from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. with seating in the bistro, front patio and garden. Reservations are required by phone at 850-813-5683. If the call is outside of business hours, leave a message and the restaurant will call back to confirm a time. A special menu will be available with items priced a la carte.  However, details are subject to change. The Agapi Mother’s Day menu is as follows:

George Bistro

6205 N. Ninth Ave.

Each year, George Bistro is a fan-favorite destination for Mother’s Day brunch, even earning a spot on OpenTable’s Top 100 Brunch Spots for Mother’s Day 2023 national list. George Bistro will be open regular hours on Mother’s Day from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. for brunch and 4:30-9 p.m. for dinner. If you’re looking for a more laid-back experience, try opting in for Saturday brunch from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Fish House

600 S. Barracks St.

The Fish House will be serving Mother’s Day brunch from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. with dinner service beginning at 3 p.m. In addition to the standard menus will be two features crafted by Chef Jason Hughes.

Angelena’s Ristorante Italiano

Angelena’s will be open for Mother’s Day brunch for three seatings: 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Angelena’s will be serving a $75 fixed menu plus tax and gratuity. The menu showcases Italian brunch favorites. In addition to the full Italian wine list, Wine Director Matt Nichols will feature four Mother’s Day drink specials, including Angelena’s Bloody Mary, Peach White Sangria, Peach Bellini and a MOMosa.
