If you see a black and white cat at SPCA Florida who’s perched on top of a cat tree, chances are good it’s Poppy, a domestic shorthair female. You can lure her off her perch by waving a laser light for her to chase or some catnip to whet her appetite. While earthbound, Poppy also relaxes by grooming other kitties. Her bestie was adopted so now Poppy is waiting for her exit from the shelter sine she’s been there since last May. Make her wish come true and tap into her affectionate nature today.

If you’re visiting SPCA Florida’s Tinker’s Legacy Cattery and see a kitty wearing a red and white dotted bowtie, you’ve met Henry. During his short life, Henry’s overcome health issues, but that doesn’t interfere with his glass-half-full love for people and felines. His sweet nature endears him to visitors and may result in his jumping on an available lap for some stress-busting strokes.
