The Jacksonville Jaguars’ home opener against the Carolina Panthers has been delayed due to weather.
There is currently lightning in the area.
For the time being, the game will remain delayed until the lightning is out of the area. No updates at this time have been provided on when the game may restart.
Editor’s note: The game is reportedly restarting at 3:10 ET.
Just before the delay, the Jaguars had scored a touchdown following a turnover to take the 10-3 lead.
Through a quarter and a half, Trevor Lawrence has been very efficient as a passer. The Jaguars have also found success in the run game, averaging 4.8 yards per carry as a team.
When those two elements are working hand-in-hand, the Liam Coen offense is able to operate at max capacity.
Travis Hunter has only played offense up to this point in the game and has four receptions for 22 yards.
