The Jacksonville Jaguars exited Sunday’s Week 1 game against the Carolina Panthers relatively healthy.
While Jaguars right tackle Anton Harrison left the game briefly due to a sore back, head coach Liam Coen said Monday and again on Wednesday that Harrison would be fine and on track to play this week against Cincinnati.
“He had a little back soreness, but it’s part of it. I was pleased with Anton, especially in pass protection, the whole group, but specifically Anton, and in the run game, did some really good things,” Coen said of Harrison’s performance against Carolina.
“So, I was pleased with his effort, strain, the way that he was battling through a little bit of a knick and battled through it. Obviously came out for a short period, but I was pleased with his first outing.”
The Jaguars did not have any other injuries to report immediately after the game on Sunday. In Wednesday’s practice, all players besides rookie OL Wyatt Milum were seen during the team’s stretching and warm-ups.
