FORT PIERCE — Archie’s Seabreeze was recently at a crossroads.

New owners Phil Thompson and Deborah Lally initially considered tearing down and redeveloping Archie’s into a rooftop bar, which would be a unique attraction for Fort Pierce.

However, after seeing a surge of new and returning customers, Archie’s new owners decided to preserve the beloved restaurant and bar on South Hutchinson Island — as long as it remains profitable.

Here’s five facts about the “friendly biker bar,” known for its mantra: “no shoes, no shirt, no problem.”
