The Florida State Seminoles will have a chance on Saturday to show how they respond to adversity against the Pitt Panthers in Doak Campbell Stadium. FSU (3-2) is coming off back-to-back losses and needs a win to prevent the great start to the season from slipping away
The game is set to kick off at noon ET on ESPN. It will be Pitt’s (3-2) first time playing in Doak Campbell Stadium since 2020, when they beat the Seminoles 41-17. They actually lead the all-time series, and have won the last two times they played in Tallahassee.
FSU’s defense has struggled over the past two weeks and will look to get back on track against Pitt, which is starting a true freshman quarterback in Mason Heintshel. While he impressed in his first start on Saturday, this is his first time playing on the road, and the FSU defensive line will be looking to generate pressure to try and rattle him, something they have struggled to do.
