Florida State has secured another piece in its defensive backfield. Three-star safety Daylen Green made it official by signing with the Seminoles on Wednesday afternoon during the early signing period.
Back in January, Green got an offer from FSU and visited for their Junior Day later in the month. He would take four more visits to Tallahassee this year before committing last month, flipping from the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Green is the No. 1,014 overall recruit and the No. 101 safety, and the No. 111 player in Florida per Rivals industry rankings. 247Sports has the 6-foot-1, 210-pounder as the No. 1,003 prospect, the No. 85 linebacker, and the No. 107 prospect in the state of Florida.
FSU will sign two safeties during the early signing period. Along with Green, the Seminoles will sign four-star prospect Darryl Bell III.
