FSU receiver earns Preseason AP All-America Team nod

Duce Robinson’s first year at Florida State changed the expectations surrounding him. After producing one of the most productive seasons by a Seminole receiver in recent memory, he will begin 2026 with his name firmly among the nation’s top players at the position.

The Associated Press named Robinson to its Preseason All-America Second-Team offense, selecting him alongside Indiana’s Charlie Becker and Rutgers’ KJ Duff at wide receiver. The selection gives Robinson another prominent preseason honor as he prepares to build on a 1,000-yard campaign in his second season at Florida State.

The production was not limited to one or two explosive performances. Robinson finished with five games of at least 120 receiving yards, the most among Power Four players, and three games with at least 140 yards. He averaged 19.3 yards per reception and surpassed 100 receiving yards against the Virginia Cavaliers, Wake Forest Demon Deacons, Clemson Tigers and Virginia Tech Hokies, among others.

His work against ACC opponents was especially notable. Robinson averaged a conference-best 102.8 receiving yards per game in league play and led the ACC during the regular season with 17 catches of at least 20 yards, 12 of at least 30 and six of at least 40. He also earned first-team All-ACC recognition and was a semifinalist for the Biletnikoff Award.

Those numbers have made Robinson one of the established pieces Florida State can build around offensively in 2026. Rather than entering the season as an unknown transfer trying to carve out a role, he returns with evidence that he can consistently create explosive plays against Power Four competition.

The AP honor places Robinson among just six receivers selected across the organization’s first and second teams. For Florida State, the next challenge will be turning that individual recognition into production for an offense looking to take a significant step forward this fall.
