FSU OT target commits to SEC program

The FSU Seminoles have had a great month of June on the recruiting trail, but no one is perfect, and they were unable to land a key target on Saturday as three-star offensive tackle Ben Mubenga committed to the Arkansas Razorbacks.

He picked the Razorbacks over the Seminoles, NC State Wolfpack, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and more. He visited FSU multiple times during his recruitment, including taking an official visit on June 20, the last one before he committed.

Mubenga is ranked as the No. 598 overall player and the No. 51 offensive tackle in the 247Sports composite rankings. The Buford native is also the No. 68 player from Georgia.

The Seminoles have two offensive linemen in their 2026 recruiting class: Luke Francis and Mike Ionata. Francis is a three-star prospect originally from England, and Ionata is a three-star prospect. The Seminoles are likely looking to add a few more offensive linemen to the class, especially at tackle. The good news is that they added a big group last year and several transfers with multiple years of eligibility, so they can be selective.
