FSU offers 2027 blue-chip running back

The Florida State Seminoles have taken their search for talent in the 2027 recruiting cycle to the Northeast. Blue-chip running back Isaiah Rodgers announced that the Seminoles have extended him a scholarship offer after he spoke with FSU’s running backs coach Kam Martin and assistant running backs coach Shaun Shivers.

The 247Sports composite rankings have Rodgers as the No. 120 overall recruit and the No. 7 running back in the nation. The 5-foot-11, 205-pounder is the No. 2 prospect in the state of Massachusetts as well.

Rodgers has rushed for 475 yards and nine touchdowns during his high school career, averaging 5.9 yards per carry. His junior campaign in 2025 was his best as he ran for 357 yards and five touchdowns in three games (119 yards per game). His two 100-yard performances also came this past season.

FSU is one of 15 offers that Rodgers has received, which also include the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Michigan Wolverines, Nebraska Cornhuskers, and others. They still haven’t hosted him for a visit yet, which should change soon.
