FSU starting right tackle Micah Pettus has declared for the 2026 NFL draft, announcing the news Friday afternoon on social media. He took the time to thank the communities that have helped him develop.
“The communities of Madison/Harvest, AL, Oxford, MS, and Tallahassee, FL will always have a special place in my heart,” he wrote. “Each community has supported me in their own way and I’m forever thankful to them.”
Pettus spent one season in Tallahassee after starting his career with the Ole Miss Rebels, spending four years with them and developing into a starter. He started 11 games for the Seminoles in 2025, earning a 71.4 PFF grade in 638 snaps.
That grade is the second-best of FSU’s starting offensive line, only behind Luke Petitbon. He won FSU’s Bill McGrotha Award as the Offensive Newcomer of the Year. The 6-foot-7, 349-pounder allowed 14 pressures and zero sacks in 321 pass-blocking snaps.
He is the third FSU player to declare for the 2026 NFL draft, joining quarterback Tommy Castellanos and defensive lineman Darrell Jackson Jr. The draft is set to take place on April 23-25, 2026, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
