The FSU Seminoles are working to add a running back to their 2026 recruiting class, which does not currently have one. They are trying to flip several targets, and one of their top targets is Qwantavius Wiggins, a three-star prospect from Fairburn, Georgia.
Wiggins is their newest target but has quickly risen up the board, with them extending him a scholarship offer on Oct. 11 when he attended their game against the Pittsburgh Panthers. He is currently committed to the FIU Panthers, but he has now scheduled an official visit for Nov. 1 when they host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons.
He is ranked as the No. 920 overall player and No. 59 running back in the 247Sports composite. He is also the No. 98 player from Georgia.
The Seminoles have several advantages in their pursuit of Wiggins, who is teammates with FSU tight end commit Xavier Tiller. Wiggins has also flipped his commitment once before, he was previously committed to the USF Bulls before flipping to FIU in June.
The Seminoles landed one of the top running backs in the country last year in Ousmane Kromah, who has made an immediate impact for them and is their No. 2 running back. However, they have struggled to land one this year and have been without a running back commit since Amari Thomas flipped to South Carolina in August.
