It’s Christmas in July at Publix.
For the first time ever, the Lakeland-based grocer is making the popular turkey cranberry holiday sub available in the summer. The more than 10-year-old fan favorite is typically only available during the holiday season.
There are 26 Publix locations in Brevard that all offer the specialty sub.
What’s on Publix’s turkey cranberry holiday sub?
The sub comes on your choice of sub roll, with mayonnaise, Boar’s Head Ovengold roasted turkey breast, cranberry orange relish, Boar’s Head precooked bacon and Boar’s Head smoked Gruyere cheese.
It’s not clear exactly how long the sub will be available. Publix officials only said “while supplies last,” but it’s not likely it will stick around until the holiday season.
Too early to celebrate the holidays at Publix?
If you’re still in summer mode, Publix still has plenty of heat-filled options.
Earlier in July, Publix released a bunch of summer-inspired foods. They include sweet peach heat chicken tenders, panko shrimp and sweet heat green chili cornbread.
There also are summer-inspired ice cream flavors like Freedom Berry Bliss, Strawberry Lime Chili and Home Run Caramel Popcorn.
