Most of the state is under exceptional or extreme drought conditions.
Currently, burn bans have been issued for 45 of Florida’s 67 counties, including most of the Panhandle and northern Florida.

Here’s where all active wildfires are burning across Florida April 28, according to the Florida Forest Service.

As of 7 a.m. April 28, there were 103 active wildfires burning 15,587 acres across Florida.
According to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, between Jan. 1 and April 26 in Florida there have been:
