Florida State’s 2027 recruiting class is talented so far, but they’re still searching for a pledge from an offensive lineman. They have taken their efforts to the state of Alabama, and they’ve offered three-star Stafford Willis out of Arab High School.
“After a great visit and conversation with @Coach_Norvell I am blessed to receive an OFFER to play for @FSUFootball! #FSU #GoNoles,” Willis said.

The 6-foot-5, 280-pounder has around 30 offers spreading across the ACC, SEC, Big 12, Big Ten conferences, and more. South Carolina, Arkansas, Virginia Tech, Virginia, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, UCLA, Maryland, Pittsburgh, plus others have extended scholarship offers to Willis.
His trip to Tallahassee on Wednesday was the first time he set foot on FSU’s campus. March was a huge month for Willis in terms of visits, as South Carolina, Florida, Ohio State, Virginia, and Virginia Tech all got unofficial trips with him. UCLA has the only official visit locked in for May 15.
Although he took snaps at left and right tackle in 2025, Willis is the No. 65 65 interior offensive lineman per the 247Sports composite. They also have him listed as the nation’s No. 986 overall prospect and the No. 39 recruit in the state of Alabama.
