The Miami Dolphins were back on the practice field at their Baptist Health Training Complex on Tuesday for the first day of their first rookie minicamp under new head coach Jeff Hafley.
While everyone was in attendance, a few players didn’t participate in drills, including defensive lineman Zach Sieler, which was a bit of a surprise.
During his media availability on Wednesday, Hafley revealed that Sieler “tweaked something minor” that kept him from going through drills on Tuesday. It isn’t expected to keep one of Miami’s top leaders off the field for long.
The 30-year-old is entering his eighth season in South Florida. So far, he’s recorded 353 tackles, 78 quarterback hits, 35.5 sacks, 16 passes defensed, six fumble recoveries, five forced fumbles and two interceptions.
