The Miami Dolphins may not have accomplished their ultimate goals of hoisting a Lombardi Trophy over the last few seasons, but they continue to be one of the most respected franchises in the NFL.
On Thursday, ESPN reported that the Dolphins ranked as the top team in the 2026 NFLPA survey, marking the third year in a row that Miami earned the honor.
The NFLPA survey wrote: “Players consistently describe the organization as ‘the best in the NFL.'”
While the report cards aren’t being made public after the NFL filed a grievance with the NFLPA, the leak to ESPN also shared that Hard Rock Stadium was ranked as the fourth-best home field in the league, “with players highlighting their preference for quality grass fields like this one.”
Former Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel also saw his grade drop from an A-plus in last year’s survey to a B this year. “Players identify scheduling, communication, and leadership as key areas for head coaching improvement, presenting an opportunity for [new head coach Jeff] Hafley next season,” the survey said.
As long as Stephen Ross owns the team, he’ll likely continue to do whatever he can to keep his players happy. That’s what any owner should do, but it’s evident that’s not happening across the league.
