Memorial Day weekend has passed, school is out, and the sweltering Florida heat is back; summer is basically here.
And nothing says summer more than s’mores by the campfire. However, it does get divisive when it comes to what the perfect s’more looks like.
To settle the debate ahead of the official summer season, Hershey’s is launching its “Heated Debate” campaign in partnership with “Sandlot” actor Patrick Renna.
“Hershey’s milk chocolate is non-negotiable in my house. It’s the classic for a reason,” Renna said in a press release. “And the marshmallow? That’s where the family debate gets loud. Camp Gooey, Camp Toasty … everybody’s got a take. But that’s the best part: you’re outside, you’re laughing, and for a few minutes you’re just together with sticky fingers, big smiles, and s’mores that taste like summer.”
Starting today, fans can join the debate across Instagram and TikTok. So, do Floridians prefer a “toasty” or “gooey” s’more? And does the rest of the nation agree with the Sunshine State?
