Florida State has been surging when it comes to landing 2026 recruits. One of their 13 commitments to the class since June was three-star offensive lineman Jakobe Green as he joined three-star Mike Ionata who made his pledge in March. The Seminoles are also in the mix for an elite talent on the offensive line, and that’s four-star Da’Ron Parks.
The Seminoles first offered Parks in June of 2023 after he took an unofficial visit. He didn’t make his way back to Tallahassee until March. After seeing offensive line coach Herb Hand and his approach, Parks was impressed.
“Man, I love it,” Parks told Matt LaSerre of Warchant. “So, he’s like hands-on. He doesn’t coach everybody the same — I’m not saying that in a bad way. But like people take things differently. That speaks for itself. Everybody takes things differently, so he coaches everybody differently.”
FSU hosted Parks again for an official visit on June 13. However, he visited the Ohio State Buckeyes a week later. In total, Parks has 48 offers, and he picked up seven in June alone. So, there’s no telling where he will choose to play.
The Seminoles have emphasized the trenches as they have already gotten commitments from four defensive linemen in their 2026 class. Parks would be an excellent addition to that.
