96,884 reasons for a happy Father's Day – who in Jacksonville bought the Fantasy 5 winner

Check your numbers if you bought a Fantasy 5 ticket for Father’s Day at the Publix Liquor Store at 2875 University Boulevard W. in Jacksonville ― because someone matched all five drawn 4-6-8-9-29.

That means $96,884 in winnings, according to the Florida Lottery after the June 15 evening drawing.

Another person won the midday drawing worth $51,969 from a ticket sold at a Vero Beach 7-Eleven.

Fantasy 5 drawings are held twice a day, seven days a week at 1:05 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. and can be seen at floridalottery.com. The estimated prize is $100,000 if there are no rolldowns.

How to play Fantasy 5

Visit any Florida Lottery retail location for a paper play slip to choose your numbers. Every Fantasy 5 card allows you to play up to 10 panels, with each equaling one ticket. Tickets can be purchased up to 20 minutes before the applicable drawing. Tickets purchased after the applicable timeframe will be for the next available draw.

Choose a panel and select five numbers from 1 through 36 — or mark the Quick Pick box in the panel and let the terminal pick some or all of your numbers at random. Select the draw time. Select MID for the midday drawing, EVE for the evening drawing or BOTH for both the midday and evening drawings. If no draw time is marked, the terminal will automatically print a ticket for the next available draw. If both are selected, two separate tickets will print ― one for the midday drawing and one for the evening drawing.

For a chance to win cash instantly, select the EZmatch box in a panel for $1 more per play.

How to play the same Fantasy 5 numbers in advance for several days

To “Advance Play” the same numbers, players can purchase up to 30 consecutive days (a total of up to 60 consecutive drawings). Simply tell the retailer how many advance days you wish or select the number of days in the Advance Play section of your play slip. The time of a Fantasy 5 ticket purchase will determine the Advance Play draw selection (MID/EVE) if a player does not select a time when using a play slip.
