7 player prop bet picks for Dolphins vs. Jets in Week 4

The Miami Dolphins and New York Jets are both 0-3, despite a couple close games for each team earlier in September. Miami heads in to the prime-time matchup well rested following a Thursday night loss in Week 3, and the team is healthier than it has been in a while.

Last week, despite the return of Jaylen Wright to the lineup, the Dolphins leaned on rookie Ollie Gordon II in relief of De’Von Achane, giving the sixth-round pick nine touches. That trend should continue in Week 4.

With increased Gordon usage in mind, here are seven prop bets that could be winners in Week 4:

Dolphins RB De’Von Achane UNDER 12.5 rush attempts (-110)

Achane is a viable pass-catching threat out of the backfield, and on pace for over 100 receptions in 2025. He has also yet to carry the ball over a dozen times so far this season, and has only done so just eight times in 31 career games played.

With an increased presence of Gordon, Achane will still get plenty of touches in the pass game. But it would behoove Miami to limit his rushing attempts and give more inside work to Gordon.

Dolphins RB Ollie Gordon OVER 25.5 rushing yards (-110)

It makes perfect sense to fade Achane’s attempts and pair it with the over on Gordon’s rushing yardage. Gordon was limited to just two attempts in Miami’s opening week game against the Indianapolis Colts, and just a lone rush during Week 2 against the New England Patriots.

But Gordon rushed the ball nine times in Week 3 against the Bills and gained a respectable 38 yards, for an average of 4.2 yards per carry. It may only take five or six carries to hit this over, Gordon should replicate his workload from last week. The Jets’ rushing defense is allowing 4.1 yards per carry during their first three games, and Gordon should hit this mark.

Jets RB Breece Hall OVER 81.5 rushing + receiving yards (-115)

Hall is another dual-threat player out of the backfield, who started his season off with a bang with 145 yards from scrimmage against the Steelers. However, he managed just 38 yards in Week 2 and 52 last week.

The Dolphins defense has not faired very well over the first three games against running backs Jonathan Taylor, Rhamondre Stevenson, and James Cook. Those backs gained 98, 142, and 118, respectively, against Miami, and Hall will certainly be leaned on against the Dolphins’ leaky rush defense.

Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle OVER 46.5 receiving yards (-118)

Jaylen Waddle has dealt with a minor shoulder injury the last few weeks, but has found the end zone in two consecutive games heading into Week 4.

With the Jets’ top cornerback Sauce Gardner likely staying on Tyreek Hill, Waddle will see Brandon Stephens, who is off to a rough start in 2025, and allowing passers to have a 131.7 passer rating when targeted in coverage.

Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa UNDER 32.5 pass attempts (-105)

Tagovailoa has a perfect opportunity for a get-right game against the Jets. New York has generated the second fewest pressures and hurries so far this season, which could allow Tagovailoa to lead the Dolphins to an early lead. Even with the Dolphins trailing for most of the first three weeks, Tagovailoa has attempted 23, 32, and 34 passes in Miami’s first trio of games

If the Dolphins lean heavier on Gordon, Tagovailoa may not need to throw over 30 times.

Jets WR Garrett Wilson OVER 5.5 receptions (-135)

Wilson is putting up top 10 wide receiver numbers so far in 2025. Entering Week 3, he was eighth in receptions with 21, and eighth in targets with 30.

The Dolphins will be without cornerbacks Storm Duck and Jason Marshall Jr. and Ethan Bonner is questionable, so Wilson could be in for a busy night on Monday. After a 10-catch performance in Week 3, expect Wilson to be heavily involved against the Dolphins.

Jets TE Mason Taylor ANYTIME touchdown (+475)

The Dolphins are one of seven teams to allow multiple touchdowns to tight ends in the first three weeks. The son of Dolphins legend Jason Taylor is looking for his first career touchdown. He is also coming off of a six-target Week 3 performance, where he caught four passes and it would come to no shock to see Taylor hit the end zone Monday night.
