Celebrate Juneteenth at the Norton Museum

Honor Juneteenth with a day of art, music and community at the Norton Museum of Art. This intergenerational celebration of freedom and the African American experience features live performances, dance, storytelling, gallery talks and hands-on art activities for visitors of all ages.

Juneteenth Community Day: Saturday, June 20, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Norton Museum of Art, 1450 S. Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach. Info: 561-832-5196 or norton.org.

Experience Morikami after hours

See Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in a different light during its popular Sunset Stroll. This evening event combines taiko drumming, cultural demonstrations and culinary experiences with the beauty of the gardens at dusk. June’s program includes a demonstration on the art of character bento boxes, showcasing how food, design and Japanese culture come together in creative and unexpected ways.

Secrets, romance and murder collide in Agatha Christie’s “The Hollow,” opening this month as part of Florida Atlantic University’s Festival Repertory Theatre.
