1. FRIDAY: ‘The History of Rock ‘N Roll’ at Arts Bonita 

From the birth of rock ‘n’ roll to the anthems that defined generations, “The History of Rock ‘N’ Roll” starring Johnny Rogers celebrates the music that changed the world.

The acclaimed vocalist and multi-instrumentalist leads audiences on a high-energy musical journey through the evolution of rock, paying tribute to legendary artists including Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones and many more.

At 7:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 21 at the Performing Arts Center, 10150 Bonita Beach Road, Bonita Springs.

3. THURSDAY: ‘Beyond the Mirror’ on Marco Island

The Marco Island Center for the Arts is inviting the community to experience the transformative power of creativity with “Beyond the Mirror,” a new creative wellness experience led by Melissa C. Phillips, MSW, registered clinical social work intern and founder of Gulf Coast Integrative Counseling.

Taking place from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 20, this 90-minute workshop offers participants an opportunity to explore identity, resilience, and personal growth through the creation of a mixed-media self-portrait.

Class size is intentionally limited to just 10 participants, creating a supportive and engaging environment for meaningful reflection. No artistic experience is necessary — only curiosity and a willingness to create.
