Vanderbilt University has raised the $300 million needed to build a graduate business school in downtown West Palm Beach, Chancellor Daniel Diermeier said on Jan. 12.
The Nashville-based private university plans to provide graduate programs in finance, management, engineering space technology, and defense technology and manufacturing. Artificial intelligence and data science will be integrated throughout the curriculums.
The campus is set to open by the fall of 2029. It will be built on seven acres downtown along South Tamarind Avenue, from Datura Street south to Fern Street. The land was donated to Vanderbilt by West Palm Beach and Palm Beach County.
