Rosales was walking along Olivas Park Drive and Seaborg Avenue around 8:55 p.m. when a two-vehicle traffic collision happened behind her, Ventura Police previously reported. One of the vehicles struck her.

She was taken to the Ventura County Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead from multiple, blunt-force injuries, officials said.

The drivers pulled over and cooperated with authorities at the time of the crash, police previously said. One reportedly sustained a minor head injury and was taken to a hospital.
