Although he struggled a bit in the second half, Warriors rookie Will Richard had an impressive 2025-26 season, especially considering he was selected No. 56 overall in the 2025 NBA Draft. Richard was praised throughout the year by coaches and teammates for his basketball IQ and ability to move without the ball.
In 69 games, Richard averaged 6.4 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.2 steals in 20 minutes per game. The former Florida Gator was an efficient shooter from within the arc, converting on 67.9% of his 2-point attempts and a serviceable 33.5% of his 3-pointers. With zero new free agent additions to this point, Richard will have an opportunity to earn more minutes in Golden State’s rotation as a sophomore.
