CJ Daniels was one of many rookies to make his NFL debut in the Los Angeles Rams’ preseason opener against the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday, suiting up for the first time as a pro. He was an outstanding receiver who shined at Miami last season, taking his talents to Los Angeles as a sixth-round pick.
The Rams mic’d Daniels up for his big debut, giving fans a look at what the rookie is like on the field and the sidelines. He’s a vocal player who’s always supporting his teammates. He hyped up Max Klare and Dean Connors, among others, while also staying in constant communication before each play.
It’s no wonder the coaching staff loves what he’s all about.
In the 20-12 win, Daniels caught two passes for 18 yards on five targets. He’ll look to improve against the Saints this Saturday when the Rams host them at SoFi Stadium.
